Atari 2600,Atari 520ST , Amiga 500 , etc... Were excellent consoles / computers but I've always been frustrated while looking at Nintendo NES pad .
Playing with my Atari 2600 was great, just as playing with my Atari 520STE, but as soon as I was invited by a friend that was owning a Nintendo Nes,I was jealous;not because of the game (ok,Mario and Zelda were awesome !) but pretty much more because of the pad; Actually it was in my opinion just the ultimate joystick/joypad for playing with any 8/16bits system. Then I've grew up and became an electronician and just built my dream : a Nintendo NES pad to Atari 2600 / Atari 520STf / Atari 520 STE / Atari 1040 STf / Atari 1040 STE / Atari Mega STE / Commodore 64 / Amiga 500 / Amiga 2000 / Amiga 1200 / Commodore 64 / commodore 128 / Vic 20 / CD32 / CDTV etc... to be able to play with about any 8 / 16 bits system with a simple , inexpensive and just excellent Nintendo NES pad .
